Born to create,
driven by love
Sheela Shetty grew up in a household where creativity was as natural as breathing. From her earliest memories, she was drawn to colours, textures, and patterns — watching the way light played on marigold petals, filling notebooks with sketches and designs.
Her journey into painting began as a quiet, private affair — stolen hours with brushes and watercolours, exploring the relationship between colour and emotion. She could paint the sky the way she felt it: vast, ever-changing, full of quiet drama.
Parallel to her painting, Sheela discovered crochet — an art form that demanded patience, precision, and rhythm. Together, these two art forms gave voice to different dimensions of her creative self.
Today, Sheela teaches, creates, and exhibits — sharing her art and philosophy with all who encounter it. Her works have found homes across India and beyond.
